According to the dictionary, family is a group of individuals living u under the same roof and usually under one head. Or a group of people of common ancestry.
So what is your definition of Family.
Mine, is it can be “blood” or “non-blood related”. Let me explain…
To me Family is loving the person enough to give your life for them. Love them unconditionally. To worry about them, to comfort them, to helping them, to supporting them. We are ALL God’s children. Think about it for a moment…..
God sent his ONLY son (blood) to die on the cross for our sins. OUR sins!!!!. We are all God’s children. Therefore, family is everyone.
We should love everyone as God loves us.
Kelsey’s favorite song when she was little was “Jesus loves the little children.”
Look at the words….
“Jesus loves the little children. All the children of the world. Red and yellow black and white, they are precious in his sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world.”
What a beautiful, simple song.
We are to LOVE all the children of the world, When I say children I mean everyone. as we are all God’s children.
What inspired me to write this blog and to get people to understand that everyone is our “Family”?
There have been things going on in my family that I can’t talk about. But let me just say, I LOVE each and everyone one of my family members. I would GIVE my life for them. And you all know me and know that I mean what I say.
There have been ups and downs since Kelsey passed, more downs than ups, but we have to remember that we are Family. I or someone else in our family may make you mad, but you know what, you forgive. Just like God and Jesus did.
As Jesus hung on the cross he said about the people that were hanging him there, “Forgive them Father. For they know not what they do.”
Forgive them!!!!! As christians that is what we are supposed to do. FORGIVE!!!!!
So to everyone that reads this blog. LOVE everyone. Especially your family. Love them unconditionally. No matter your differences. No matter what, LOVE them.
My prayer to each and every one of you as always is that you ask the Lord to come into your heart. That you have the relationship with Him that I have, That we all meet in Heaven one day.
