As many of you know, our other Daughter, Annie passed away three weeks ago.
To bury one child is sad enough, but to bury a second is unthinkable.
Annie was my step daughter, but we never said that. I love her just as much as Courtney and Kelsey. I would get mad at her, boy would I get mad, but I LOVED her. I'm sure Ronnie and Ramona would agree with me on that.
Kelsey LOVED Annie and Annie LOVED Kelsey. When Kelsey passed, Annie couldn't understand why God would take Kelsey and not her. For the past six years she was angry because she was here and Kelsey wasn't.
Courtney found this picture of Kelsey and Annie taken in 2009, a few months before Kelsey died. I just think it is the most beautiful picture.
Why you may ask? You see, for several months before Annie past away she had learned to love God and to take him into her heart. She was so happy. We hadn't seen "Our Annie" that happy in a long time.
You know Ronnie asked me a few days after Annie past 'Why now? Why didn't God take her earlier." My answer to him was simple, "God waited for her to come back to Him. Waited so Annie could be in his loving arms. Waited so Annie could be with Kelsey like in this picture."
So know we have 2 of our children tucked away safely in Heaven. We don't have to worry about them. They are Safe in God's Arms.
Are our hearts broken? ABSOLUTELY!!!!! More than any parent's heart should have to hurt. But, we know both of them are safe..
So my advice to everyone. There is NOTHING in this world more important than your relationship with God and your family and friends. It saddens me so much to see fighting going on between family's and friends. Or someone not accepting Christ.
You may have arguments with your family members, but life is to short. You never know when God will call any of us home. I could go tomorrow. (Sorry, but that would be so awesome) You could go tomorrow. So I ask you first of all, ask God to come into your heart so you can go Home someday and FORGIVE those you need to forgive. Life is to short. Haven't we learned that? Well, this family has.
1 Peter 5:10
"The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast."
Miss and Love you Kelsey and Annie... God Bless Bon
