Over the last 5 years, yes, it's going to be 5 years in January since my Kel passed away. (It's still hard to even say those words)... I have met a lot of people throughout the State of MI and even the country. Many of them being police officials. (Sheriffs, State Police, City, etc.)
Well I had one contact me yesterday and tell me a story. Of course it made me cry but when God sends you signs to let you know your loved one is safe, all you can do is cry.
Anyway, this officer was on patrol a few days ago when he observed a car weaving on the road. They thought the person driving was drunk. So the officer pulled the car over. When they approached the car and started talking to the gentleman in the car, they realized he was NOT drunk. The officer eventually was able to get the man to admit that he was texting while he was driving. The man even volunteered to show the officer his phone and the text. Of course a ticket was issued.
Once the officer arrived back to the office and started to input his report, he realized that he had pulled this man over on a road but the cross road was "Kelsey Road". Yep, "Kelsey Road"!!!!!!
I believe that God sent this officer a sign that our Kel is fine and that she and Him are proud of the officer for keeping our roads safe.
Thank you to this officer for being who he is and for remembering our Kel and how dangerous texting and driving is.
With the Holiday Season upon us, I just want to take the time to thank everyone for your support, prayers, and love for me and my family over the past 5 years. Some of you don't even know me or my family other than through this page.
I ask that you continue to keep us in your prayers as Christmas is the hardest time for me, Ron and our Courtney. I hope you all know I wound NOT be able to make it without all of you. So THANK YOU.
And as I always say, if you have children, HUG them tight everyday and tell them you love them everyday. Even if you are arguing with them, take a deep breath, look at them and tell them you love them.
